For New Phoenix Theatre-LA: Poseidon in Trojan Women; Lieutenant Rooney in Arsenic & Old Lace. Fantasia has produced and directed more than two hundred plays and operas worldwide. His one-man performances include The Double Bass by Patrick Suskind, and Enough! by Peter Turini. He is the author of Instant Shakespeare; Tragedy in the Age of Oprah; and Talking Shakespeare: Notes from a Journey. He is also the General Editor of the series, Playing Shakespeare’s Characters for Peter Lang Publishers. In 2016, he was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his contributions to German culture and theatre.
