Lindsay Plake is making her New Phoenix Theatre-LA debut with the role of Cassandra in Trojan Women.

Lindsay is a Los Angeles based actor working in film, theater, commercials, print and new media. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with degrees in theater, communication, and international relations. Lindsay is a member of the City Garage Theatre Company in Santa Monica where she was nominated for the Stage Raw Theater Awards in the best two-person performance category for her portrayal of Right in Sebastian Mayewski’s right left with heels. You may also have seen her in the following City Garage Productions: Eurydice, Exit the King, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Bourgeois Gentleman, Phoebe Zeitgeist Returns to Earth, Grimly Handsome, Adam & Evie, Almost Equal To, and Carmen Disruption.

On the big screen, you may have seen her play the role of Liz in the horror-comedy feature film, “Life’s a B****” and “Then One Kills You.” In addition to many film festival accolades, she and her talented cast mates received the Film Invasion Los Angeles Grand Jury Prize of Best Performances by an Ensemble. She attributes her desires as an actor to watching classic movies as a young girl with her family. Such films featuring her favorite star like Vivian Leigh, Marilyn Monroe, and Bette Davis were and continue to be great inspirations to her.
